We all know eventually Marijuana, even if for medicinal use will soon be legal here across the board. I mean all 50 states eventually legalizing. Even if they chose to do so one state at a time? I'm sure patients with Marijuana conditions will be glad when they can eventually grow their own medicine!
The irony is that we have some patients that have no clue of the healing powers of Marijuana in relation to their own condition. This publication does a god job of breaking up a lot of the old tightly held myths about “The Weed”. Literally speaking. Blowing away a lot of old perceptions in the process. The publication seemingly offers a well-researched unbiased perspective on the medicinal uses on Marijuana. What stand out most about this publication as opposed to most is that it addresses cultivation in addition to use. As so many patients in so many instances are limited due to their condition(s) in transportation and growing essentially resolves one of the most overlooked aspects.
Recently published November 2014 and coming in at a little over 300 pages, The Medical Cannabis Guidebook does an excellent job of sticking to the facts in regards to the subject itself and offering helpful informative information in which the reader can clearly understand. The publication does a great job of providing information on Medical Cannabis in regards to growing, types of illnesses and diseases, legal issues, preparation and more. Available in both Kindle and Paperback the publication really is a guide book by true definition. What I both admire and respect about the author, Jeff Ditchfield is that he is passionate on the subject of Medicinal Cannabis and has several other publications on the subject as well. Having years vested into cause Jeff is more than just an author, an outspoken campaigner, and activist as well with participation in several organizations.
So for a patient looking for a publication to help understand Medical Cannabis, this is the one. Take closer look and draw your own conclusion or purchase it.

Welcome - To A New Place To Be 420 Medicinally

 Medicinal Marijuana
Should Marijuana Be a Medical Option?

  • MEDICAL DISCLAIMER  - YOU WANNA BE HIGH FOR THIS!

Welcome to my first post on my medicinal blog and thanks for coming! Here is where together we will learn how to benefit from the medicinal properties of our natural plant. An organ that grows free and clear here on our planet Earth all over this entire globe...Cannabis...                 Maybe through this blog, together we can unravel the paradox that has held our country at its core since the beginning of the 1970's. As Marijuana is quietly researched and found to have more medicinal properties than most anything else on the planet. Yet we still have it scheduled as a "drug" having no medicinal value, Schedule 1. Although the issue is literally pulling the country apart at at the seams. Our government seems to hold fast in its scheduling of Marijuana.  So lets take this blog and delve deep through the issue in all sorts of ways and means and maybe we can resolve the issue once and for all! Or at least smoke on some bomb while trying to!
The true question is is medical marijuana  a safe and effective treatment for the symptoms of illnesses such as cancer, AIDS, multiple sclerosis, pain, glaucoma, epilepsy, and other conditions? And the answer as we all know it is yes! If all the politics, business haggling and Red Tape was removed the answer would still be in its simplest terms, yes! The paradox of course is that we have perfectly legal "Dope" on the market that does much worse than anything than the effects deemed "harmfully caused" by Marijuana. Yet they continue to get prescribed by thousands of Doctors and specialist in the millions each day covered by all Health Insurance Providers being pumped out of major pharmacies nation-wide 24-Hours a day, 7 Days a week. And this is all perfectly 100% totally legal.

So how should we even approach the issue? I mean should Marijuana be an FDA approved medicinal treatment for some of the dozens of ailments its known to cure, treat and control?  My question, and maybe its because I'm high!  But why are the Food and Drug Administration combined in the first place? Feedback appreciated. So stick with me and lets get into the subject right here in this post! We'll look at access, legality, treatments, patients the whole round-up, so to speak, right here. So as a proponent of the medicine, those along lets point out the reason why such an amazing substance (in its normal state) was even put here in the first place?
So is it true that everything here on Earth is meant for us to partake of? Or was that something your parents told you back then to keep you off the hard stuff? Either way it seems that the plant we have such a split decision on here in the U.S. was put here for a purpose. As I mentioned earlier if we removed all the red tape and bureaucracy Marijuana would immediately rise to the top of all forms of medicinal treatment in over 75% of all ailments!

  • A Nation Divided  - Virgina 2015 Welcome To The Club!
Are we really a nation divided on a single subject that has grown numerous opinions? As of Noon today!! The Federal Government still has the same rock-solid stance it has held on the subject since, well you know 1970! They still insist on forcing the same perspective down our throats that was viewed back when we were all sending our children "to go channel the TV"! Yes an old outdated one! "That's our story and were sticking to it!" is pretty much the FDA's stance. Yet in spite of such firmness states are proactively petitioning on their own. As of 2015 the 9 states below also presented some sort of Ballot to legalize Marijuana:

  •  Florida
  • Georgia
  • Missouri
  • Nebraska
  • North Carolina
  • Pennsylvania
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee
  • Texas

Are we a nation divided? I ask because even though the FDA is almost 5 decades behind in terms of...well everything. Technically it is still a crime, federally speaking. That's federally speaking, so let me ask then in spite of the current "states" in which it is already legal how is it that in 2015 Nine more states presented legislation or ballot measures of some sort to legalize Marijuana with Virgina even getting the go-ahead.  Yet all these states are housed within the same federal government?

Yes even Texas has decided to get in on the act and not because of Medicinal reasons. The reason Marijuana did get a second look was of course, money. So stay tuned for my next piece as we look at Dispensaries and see how if possibly to still get in on the "Green" rush as states rush to legalize companies and corporation rush to monopolize profit. So where exactly is the "Money" in the Green Rush? Stay tuned !
